Hard to get excited about a car park. Not enough pick up slots on northbound side. Had to pay 4.50 as no 20 minute slots available

You need the app to pay for your parking, which is no good for many mature people. Another not so well thought out way to discriminate against those who do not have a smart phone. Will not be using this car park unless travelling with someone who does have the app.

Tried to park at Northallerton station. No signage on road whatsoever, had to ask a local. Get there, and it is App only. I, like many others do not have a smart phone so I abandoned my trip to York and went to Thirsk instead. The City of York must be losing thousands of pounds every week because of this stupid arrangement. Next time I want to go to York I shall go by car.

It's the larger of Thirsk and Northallerton station car parks, so have chosen to travel from here. I was surprised as to how full the car was when I arrived ...some spaces...maybe 8-10. Much busier than last time I came

Very good - CCTV and reasonably priced all-day parking. You can pay via your phone, but it's not a commonly used app, so give yourself 5 mins to download the app and sort out your payment before heading to the platform. This long-stay car park is on the opposite side of the track from the short-stay, so again, make sure you're in the right one! The long-stay is on the Romanby side.

Useful car park near Platform 2. Be mindful that this car park is payable by phone or app only, no coins. It is a flat rate of £4.80 per day, regardless of if you want 2 hrs or 12 etc. App was easy to do, but long. I was away on the train before I finally paid for it! When you arrive back on Platform 1, you need to go down the steps to the ticket office and out the other door, then turn right and go under the subway. Not well directed, we had to ask a taxi driver!

I paid for 48hrs parking or as they call it 2 days after 36 hours I received a £50 parking fine for being over the parking period and they refuse to cancel the charge even though the evidence was there on the ticket and the application. Robbing TW@S

The pay machine and the app are just dreadful. Once mastered however the car park is very handy, minimum time is 24 hours, good price though.

I actually used Northallerton Railway Station rather than the Long Stay Car Park. It is a nice station which is clean and tidy. Today was the first time I used the station previously I have just gone through the station on a train.
